Small grants for big ideas
Natural Resources Eyre Peninsula invites Aboriginal men’s groups and individuals to apply for ‘Tjilpi Mooga’ small grants to undertake activities that impact positively on natural resources and Aboriginal cultural awareness on Eyre Peninsula.
How much?
Funding between $500 and $2,000 is available. Smaller projects are encouraged.
What type of project is eligible?
- Planning and actions that look after the land and sea
- Includes NRM and/or cultural relevant training and/or events
- Helps to share information and educate
- Involves children in natural resource management and Aboriginal culture
- Projects that build partnerships between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people
- Focuses on cultural natural resource management
Are there any limitations?
- Applicants will be expected to provide matching cash or in-kind contribution towards the project i.e. volunteer hours, donations of good and services.
- Funding for capital items or equipment negotiable, as minor component of project.
- Applicants may only receive one amount of sponsorship per year.
- Projects must be relevant to/or within the Natural Resources Eyre Peninsula Region.
